So I was finishing up The Fault in Our Stars and I just start bawling my eyes out. My mum jumps up runs to the closet gets out a bag, hands me a box of tissues and says “Don’t worry it’ll be alright” And I just look up over the book and shake my head and continue reading. In the meantime however, my one sister is laughing her head off at me and decides to snap a picture of me in the midst of my misery.
It was such a lovely book and I’m ever so greatful to John for being the person he is, writing the books he writes. And the entire community of Nerdfighters out there for understanding.
*Note, I used nearly the entire box of tissues and filled up the bag with tissues. Not to mention I had to take my glasses off because getting tear stains off them is ridiculous. My t-shirt substituted for the tissues before my mum got them for me.
